PR1MA™ - CryoTag Rolls for General Use

Labeling containers like frozen vials, microtubes, microplates, glass tubes, freezer boxes, plastic bags, and other containers can be challenging at temperatures below -20ºC. High-quality cryogenic labels are crucial for laboratories to minimize errors, enhance accuracy, and boost cost efficiency.

PR1MA™ Cryogenic Labels feature a premium adhesive designed to stick to already-frozen surfaces, even in wet or cold conditions. This adhesive remains effective at temperatures 80ºC down to -196ºC. Constructed from thermoplastic film and coated with a glove-friendly, cryogenic adhesive, these labels secure strongly to various surfaces including stainless steel, aluminum, paint, powder-coated metal, and iron.

PR1MA™ - CryoTags can be printed or written on and will not bleed, smear, or crack, eliminating the need for additional lamination. They are perfect for distinguishing various specimens after prolonged periods of cold storage.

Tough-Spots® on a Roll for 1.5 to 2 mL Tubes

Circular cryogenic labels formatted for handwriting. Tough-Spots® on a roll are easy to write PVC cryogenic labels that accept writing from most lab markers. Tough-Spots® come in a variety of colors and sizes to ensure the right label for the right job!

Cryo-Babies® on a Roll

Our patented Cryogenic labels (Cryo-Babies® are the small sizes and Cryo-Tags® are the larger), are flexible polyolefin labels that withstand conventional and cryogenic storage conditions (vapor and liquid phase nitrogen storage at -196°C). The labels are chemically inert with a solvent resistant acrylic adhesive that will adhere to all plastics, glass and metal. Cryo-Babies® and Cryo-Tags® will withstand boiling water baths at 100°C and dry heat up to 150°C without cracking, peeling or degrading. 

Cryo-Babies® and Cryo-Tags® resist most detergents and oils, as well as many organic solvents, caustic agents and other challenges without peeling. They will resist water soaking for at least 24 hours at room temperature and water vapor (100% relative humidity) at 35°C for at least 24 hours.

Laser Tough-Tags® Sheets for 0.5 and 1.5 mL Tubes

Our label sheets are specially designed to permanently accept laser printing.

Laboratory labels formatted for laser printers. Tough-Tags® are chemically inert laboratory labels that strongly adhere to microtubes, test tubes, storage boxes, and microscope slides. They resist organic solvents and caustic agents. Tough-Tags® are perfect for accurately identifying important samples stored in moderate freezer temperatures (121 to -40°C)

Tough-Tags® are pre-cut, peel-off labels that accept any marking instrument and are perfectly sized to fit microcentrifuge tubes and other containers in the laboratory. Tubes with Tough-Tags® wrapped around them will still slide easily in and out of rotors without binding because the labels are thin and the adhesive does not migrate from behind the label even after boiling and autoclaving.
