Labcon SuperSlik® Protease Free Pipette Tips
SuperSlik® Low Retention tips have a proprietary modified polypropylene surface that limits the adhesion of cells, rDNA, proteins, and other viscous materials. Their accuracy and precision is up to 10 times better with viscous samples than standard non-wettable polypropylene. SuperSlik® tips are made from our own proprietary resin formulation that uses no additives or coatings that migrate into your samples. Unlike low retention tips from many others, SuperSlik® tips use no restricted chemicals and meet RoHS regulations. The resin helps increase the contact angle of fluids and lets you dispense the maximum amount of sticky DNA molecules. These tips were developed in our own laboratory and have been found to be ideal for viscous samples. Low retention tips are best suited for pipetting thick or sticky fluids and may not be appropriate for all uses.
Bulk Pack
Tips are supplied in one large bag inside a corrugated container. These are not recommended for long-term storage due to warping.

Eclipse Refills
Can be used to refill Labcon and some other brands of pipette racks. Low carbon footprint makes them an ideal solution to waste reduction goals for your lab. They refill racks without your having to touch the tips or racks, so you don’t need gloves.

Labcon ZAP™ Slik Aerosol Filter Universal Pipette Tips
ZAP™ Slik Aerosol filter Pipette Tips from Labcon combine the higher standard of ZAP™ filters with our own unique low retention pipette tips. These aerosol tips provide you with complete protection from sample carry-over at the same time they reduce sample retention. Incorporating a robotically inserted 10 um filter with a sponge-like porous pathway ZAP™ Slik tips have such a small pore they even block fluids in the unlikely event that you should over-pipette. And our SuperSlik®; polypropylene increases the hydrophobicity of tips surfaces, so they have up to 10 times less fluid retention.
ZAP™ Slik Aerosol Filter Pipette Tips have been proven in independent studies to block aerosol contamination. But unlike some leading brands of self-sealing aerosol resistant pipette tips they have no cellulose gum, toluene solvent, or colored dyes in the filter to mix with and contaminate your sample. Also, unlike self-sealing aerosol tips ZAP™ tips can be autoclaved in a steam autoclave. And ZAP™ tips will not wick fluids like cellulose filled aerosol resistant tips so you don't have to worry about how you hold your pipettor. Our ZAP™ tips in sterile racks, like all our other sterile products, receive valid sterilization processing compliant with ISO 11137. So unlike "pre-sterile" tips from other pipette tip suppliers you can use ZAP™ Slik tips for diagnostic and regulated procedures. And ZAP™ Slik tips are RoHS compliant, unlike other low retention tips, so you don't have to worry that additives will migrate into your sample.
