PR1MA™ Microplate Microcentrifuge

The PR1MA™ Microplate Microcentrifuge is the first mini-sized centrifuge with a swing-out rotor for microplates. Centrifuging plates before PCR ensures all reactants are in the bottom of the wells for proper concentrations and improved yields.
The easily accessible rotor chamber includes two plate carriers that rest at a 75° angle. This allows plates to be inserted confidently without sealing tapes or caps. Upon closing the centrifuge lid, the rotor accelerates and the centrifugal force "swings" the plates into a horizontal position, concentrating any droplets on the plate walls to the well bottoms.

Available in 15 mL and 50 mL conical formats, these tubes are made from premium-grade polypropylene with uniform wall thickness for outstanding clarity, durability, and centrifugal strength.
Engineered for a variety of lab applications, including stem cell research, PR1MA™ Rainbow Centrifuge Tubes are certified sterile, RNase-free, DNase-free, pyrogen-free, and cytotoxin-free. The PR1MA™ Mini is a personal centrifuge that virtually fits in the palm of your hand. An eight-place rotor is included and comes installed. A second rotor for 0.2 mL PCR tubes and strips is also included and stored with the rotor removal key in a convenient compartment on the bottom of the centrifuge.
All centrifuges include the 8 x 1.5/2.0 mL microtube rotor, two position PCR strip rotor, and 8 adapters for 0.5 mL tubes.

PR1MA™ Mini Vortexer

Powerful is the best word to describe the PR1MA™ Mini Vortexer. With a 4 mm orbit and fixed speed of 2,800 rpm, it instantly vortexes even the largest samples, including nearly full 50 mL tubes. Despite its powerful motor, the Mini Vortexer has a footprint of less than 4 x 4 inches, allowing it to fit on even the most crowded lab bench.
Pressure-activated operation means that the motor is automatically activated with slight pressure on the center cup head. Operation is smooth, quiet, and efficient. When pressure is removed operation immediately ceases. The unique design prevents liquids from entering the housing, prolonging motor life.
