The IsoPure 96 from Accuris Instruments is a high-throughput automated extraction system that improves the efficiency and reproducibility of magnetic bead extractions. Capable of processing up to 96 samples at one time, the instrument is easy to set up and program. Mixing, magnetic bead transfer, washing, and elution steps are performed automatically, saving valuable hands-on time. The complete purification process can be finished in as little as 10 minutes (depending on the reagent kit and the complexity of the program.)

Radically Simple, Enzyme-Driven Technology

  • Uses a three-component system that seamlessly integrates within a single, disposable cartridge
  • Mix of thermophilic proteinase and mesophilic cell wall-degrading enzymes systematically lyses cells, destroys nucleases, and releases nucleic acids without harsh solvents
  • Extractor Cartridge made from thermos-responsive polymers; the cartridge acts as a self-contained microfluidic lab. Controlled heating creates pressure, forcing the lysate through a heat-burstable valve
  • Sample is driven through a proprietary purification medium that removes inhibitors, like polyphenols and polysaccharides from plants and fungi, yielding exceptionally clean, unbiased DNA or RNA

Fully automated process requires no centrifugation, vortexing, or manual pipetting after sample loading. Load your samples into the disposable cartridges and start the run. The compact device (~ 200 x 200 mm) processes 24 samples simultaneously and fits easily on any benchtop, in a laminar flow hood, and is portable enough for field use.
