FlyTreat
Drosophila Vials and Plugs

FlyTreat Drosophila Vials provide a clean, clear, and reliable environment for maintaining fruit fly cultures used in genetics, developmental biology, pharmacology, disease modeling, behavior, and lifespan research. Crystal-clear polystyrene options support optimal visibility and consistent conditions for feeding, mating, and egg-laying. Their straight-wall, flat-bottom design makes them easy to fill, plug, stack, and rack in trays, providing a more efficient workflow.

A lightweight and economical alternative to traditional glass vials, these Drosophila vials are available in wide-opening or narrow-opening formats. They can be purchased in either bulk packs or convenient tray packs, depending on your lab’s workflow and storage needs.

FlyTreat Drosophila Plugs

FlyTreat™ Drosophila Plugs are designed to fit both wide and narrow opening vials, providing secure closure and consistent airflow for healthy fruit fly cultures. Made from breathable polyester, these plugs help prevent contamination and minimize fly escape while maintaining proper ventilation. They are also autoclavable, supporting clean, reusable use in high-throughput Drosophila workflows.

Both the vials and plugs fall under the FlyTreat product family, supporting a wide range of Drosophila-based applications in modern research environments.
