Cell Culture Guidelines
- Recommended seeding density: 1 x 103 to 1 x 105 cells/cm2
- Initial adhesion phase (first 24 to 48 hours):

- For cells with lower adhesion:
- Rotation speed: 0.3 to 0.5 rpm

Cell Harvesting Protocol
- Rinse the bottle twice with PBS
- Add a dissociation solution (e.g., trypsin), ensuring full coverage of the bottle interior and pleats
- Place the bottle in an incubator and rotate at 0.3 to 0.5 rpm for 5 to 10 minutes
- After cell detachment, add an equal volume of cell culture medium to neutralize trypsin
- Rotate the bottle to collect the cell suspension
- Remove cells by pouring or pipetting

PR1MA™ Permeable Cell Culture Inserts
PR1MA™ Permeable Cell Culture Inserts are designed to support advanced cell culture applications by mimicking a variety of in vivo conditions. With multiple membrane materials and pore size options, these inserts provide flexibility for a wide range of applications, including angiogenesis, migration, chemotaxis experiments, cell interaction, and drug transport studies.
Insert design ensures proper centering within wells, allowing easy pipette access to the lower chamber while preventing unwanted wicking between the insert and side walls. Suspended above tissue culture-treated wells, these inserts enable efficient co-culture setups, allowing cells to grow both on the membrane and at the bottom of the well.
