This handheld, cordless UV-C sanitizing device uses powerful UV light (265 - 280 nm) to kill up to 99% of bacteria and viruses by destroying their DNA and RNA. Choose between a 1-minute standard cycle or a 3-minute deep-clean cycle. Simply hold the BioWand™ 1 to 2 inches from the surface and slowly pass it over the target area, allowing UV exposure for 5 to 10 seconds per section for optimal results.

Azure Aqua Transfer Cell

Perform a quick 1 hour transfer or transfer overnight at a lower voltage

Aqua Transfer Cell is used for transferring two mini gels to membranes for Western blotting experiments (wet transfer). The transfer cassettes and electrode core are colored for directionality which makes transferring easy and straightforward.

Cleaning Instructions

Before using, wash all components with a neutral detergent and rinse well with ultra pure water.

Wash the electrode assembly, transfer cassettes, and buffer tank with a neutral detergent and warm water. Be careful to avoid damaging the platinum electrodes. Use warm water to rinse the sponges, and then rinse all components with distilled or ultra-pure water.

Benchmark™ MiniMag™ Magnetic Stirrer

With a square footprint of under 5 inches, the MiniMag™ is the most compact stirrer in the Benchmark line. Despite its modest dimensions, the 3.4-inch square work surface accepts a wide variety of beakers, flasks, bottles, and other laboratory vessels for stirring volumes as large as 1.5 liters.

The stirring speed is continuously adjustable from 100 to 1500rpm. For temperature sensitive samples, the MiniMag is incubator and cold-room safe for use from +4°C to +45°C.

Short-wave UV light is an effective method for the disinfection of surface DNA, RNA and microorganisms. With the UV Clave, highly focused UV irradiation is used to disinfect tools, vessels and other research items, eliminating up to 99% of surface contamination.

Unlike most UV chambers, the UV Clave includes powerful UV-C bulbs on both the top and bottom of the chamber. When combined with our proprietary shelf that allows for >90% of UV-C light transmission and highly reflective chamber walls, the result is true 360° exposure with no blind spots.

Exposure time is adjustable. An optional heating cycle can be added to assist in drying items that may have been washed or chemically disinfected prior to placing them in the chamber.

To protect users, the integrated auto shut-off prevents illumination when the door is open. Optional indicators are available to test for proper exposure levels.

Benchmark’s Overhead Stirrers feature high torque and advanced digital microprocessor control for smooth mixing of low and medium-viscosity samples. Speed and run-time are accurately set and monitored on the LCD screen. Both the 20 L and 40 L capacity models are supplied with a 4-arm stainless steel propeller, additional steel and Teflon accessories are available. 

A feed-through chuck holds accessory shafts firmly in place and is easily tightened and loosened without tools. The overhead stirrers are protected from damage by sensors that shut down operation in the case of high viscosity or obstruction, while a splash cover protects the connection mechanism from potential corrosion. Unlike most mixers, the Benchmark series is also supplied with a support stand and mounting hardware. The stirrer easily and securely attaches to the stand for compatibility with a variety of vessels, up to 24 inches high.

Benchmark™ Industrial HCS Series of high-capacity stirrers provide reliable performance and safe operation for high throughput lab use. These stirrers feature a durable, chemically resistant white ceramic top plate, which protects the internals of the stirrer from leaks and spills. The powerful motor drive system ensures efficient and thorough mixing in large vessels and viscous samples.

Ideal for large-scale stirring applications, the HCS Series offers 50-liter and 150-liter maximum capacity models, as HCS-50L and HCS-150L respectively. Mixing speed can be viewed on the large digital display, and speed is adjustable from 50 rpm to 1500 rpm (IPS7101-50) or 1200 rpm (IPS7101-150). The built-in timer settings range from 1 second to 9 hours and include a continuous operation setting.
