5 mL SuperClear® snap cap centrifuge tubes are an efficient alternative to 15 mL tubes. Designed to fit the same rotors as our 15 mL centrifuge tubes, you can use these tubes in procedures that require smaller sample volumes.

The interior surfaces are ultra-smooth with low retention characteristics. Lab testing confirms the superior performance of SuperClear® tubes in light transmission compared to other brands. SuperClear® tubes are more than twice as effective at transmitting light than other brands of 5 mL centrifuge tubes.

SuperClear® tubes feature an extra-thick and durable wall that can withstand centrifugation to 25,000 x G, more than twice some other brands. SuperClear® tubes feature an ultra-clear polypropylene resin that gives you a clear view of the pellet as well as correct color rendition.  Designed to be sustainable, these tubes use less plastic than most other tubes and include ergonomic caps with smooth surfaces that help reduce the potential for repetitive strain injury.  The cap also includes a special 90° hinge that makes the cap easier to close while on handed pipetting.  These tubes are designed to stay closed during boiling to protect your sample.

Available in 0.5 mL, 1.7 mL, and 2.0 mL sizes that fit all stand high capacity rotors.  Tubes with snap caps have pierceable caps, a side writing surface and graduations.  Autoclavable (122°C) and freezable (-80°C).

These racks are designed to hold Labcon centrifuge tubes. Unlike foam racks, they are autoclavable and will not fall apart with repeated use. They can be frozen, and they stack together to minimize storage space. An interlocking design lets you connect more than one rack to create a handy workstation. Autoclavable (122°C) and freezable (-80°C).

Expandable tube racks can be assembled to hold 5 mL, 15 mL, and 50 mL tubes. You can link sections of 25 to suit your needs. Made of polypropylene.

These racks are designed for Labcon centrifuge tubes, other tube brands may not fit correctly.

Labcon Tip Top™ Dispenser Caps

• Convenient and Easy: Just tilt the tube and squeeze Tip Top® slightly to dispense one drop onto a slide.

Safe Dispensing of Blood Samples
 
Tip Top® Dispenser Caps A safe and cost-effective way of dispensing samples in your lab. The Tip Top® is a disposable cone shaped cap that fits all standard 13 or 16 mm blood collection tubes. A small opening allows you to dispense a sample without removing the Tip Top cap so you can prepare smears on slides or dispense into reagent wells or microcentrifuge tubes safely. Inside the tip of the Tip Top® is an integral porous filter that removes fibrin from the blood sample allowing for a perfect smear.

Tip Top® is a convenient alternative to pipetting from an open blood tube, just tilt the tube and squeeze to dispense one drop. And Tip Top® is safe you don't need to open the tube and pipet out of the tube so spillage is reduced along with potential exposure to infectious disease. Just carefully remove the stopper and replace with Tip Top®.

The Tip Top® dispenser cap can be used with almost any liquid. Made from chemically resistant polyethylene they can dispense serum, reagents, plasma, whole blood and CSF. The integral porous polyethylene filter efficiently separates serum and can also be used a a reagent blender.

Fits standard 13 x 100 and 16 x 100 collection tubes.

SuperSlik® low retention microcentrifuge tubes have a low protein binding surface that minimizes sample loss during sample manipulation.  Ideal for applications such as mass spectrometry (ms), immunoprecipitation (IP), co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP).  Leakproof snap caps may be penetrated by a syringe and will no pop open during autoclaving.  Compatible with many thermal cyclers and able to tolerate centrifuge speeds up to 20,000 RCF.
