BIOMIXER™ 3D Rocker
- Includes dimpled mat; ideal for mixing in blood & centrifuge tubes

The BioMixer™ and Mini BioMixer™ are multi-functional shakers that provide a three-dimensional nutating motion for thorough foam-free mixing in tubes as well as a variety of flat vessels.
Both models come standard with autoclavable dimpled mats and optional flat mats are available for mixing with other vessel types. In addition, stacking platforms can be purchased which will double the usable surface area for each model.These mixers feature maintenance-free, brushless motors and are capable of loads up to 2 kg, and are safe for use in cold rooms or incubators.

Hoefer® Gradient Makers
Ideal for generating gradients of polyacrylamide, sucrose, and cesium chloride.
- Made of heavy acrylic plastic with high-quality, leak-free Teflon® valves
- Flat base provides stability on the magnetic stir. Comes with a support rod for attaching to a ring stand
- Takes Luer or 4 mm ID tubing. With included adapters, it can also take 2 mm ID or 22-gauge tubing

Hoefer® Gel Casters
Enable several gradient or homogeneous gels to be cast simultaneously. Choice of multiple-gel casters or dual-gel casters.
Gel Casters for Small Format Vertical Electrophoresis Systems (SE250, SE260, SE300)
Multiple-Gel Casters
- Pour uniform gels from the top; pump gradient gels into an inlet port at the bottom of the unit
- Sandwiches fill at the same time and at the same rate from the same solution
- The result: identical gels
- Glass plate sandwiches seal leak-free without the use of messy grease or tape
- Once cast, gels can be wrapped in plastic and refrigerated for several weeks
Dual-Gel Caster (SE245)
- Cast one or two gels
- Accommodates both 10 x 8 cm and 10 x 10.5 cm plates

Gel Casters for SE600 and SE400 Series Vertical Units (SE600, SE400)
