PRO Scientific Bio-Gen PRO200 Homogenizer

The PRO Scientific Bio-Gen PRO200 Homogenizer is a compact, handheld solution for precise and efficient sample processing. Built with a lightweight ergonomic design and a 144-watt high-torque motor, this homogenizer delivers variable speeds from 5,000 to 35,000 rpm, making it ideal for tubes and small beakers. For continuous operation, it includes a separate on/off switch and can be mounted on an optional stand assembly (sold separately).

The PRO200 is ideal for cell disruption, tissue homogenization, liquid emulsions, and small solid sample processing. It can break down samples to nanoparticle levels as small as 1 micron, ensuring consistent results for research and laboratory applications. Built in the USA and backed by a 2-year warranty, the PRO200 combines durability, precision, and ease of use for everyday lab needs.

Choose the right probe for your application. Standard quick-connect probes are crafted from 316 stainless steel and PTFE for durability. The flat-bottom probe is perfect for micro-tubes, while the saw-tooth probe provides high shear force for samples from micro-tubes to small beakers. For multiple sample processing, the Multi-Gen 7XL Probes offer cost-effective, repeatable homogenization without cross-contamination.

* Sample piece size and quantity will affect breakdown. Sample solid piece size should not be larger than the diameter of the generator probe. For the most efficient homogenization of solids, the sample diameter of the largest solid should not be larger than the probe diameter.

PRO Scientific PRO200 Homogenizing Packages

PRO Scientific probes feature a durable doublebearing design that delivers superior strength, stability, and longer service life. Unlike many competitors, the PRO probe rotor shaft does not connect directly to the homogenizer drive shaft, a common weak point that causes excessive wear to both the probe and drive shaft. Instead, the PRO probe’s rotor shaft connects to the motor drive shaft, allowing smoother, straighter rotation while eliminating bending and flexing. This design locks the probe securely in place during homogenization, reduces wear, improves safety and performance, and extends the life of both the probe and the homogenizer.

• With these homogenizing packages, sample breakdown levels can reach a very low nanoparticle level, as small as 1 micron

• *Sample piece size and quantity will affect breakdown. Sample piece size should not be larger than 7 mm in diameter. Processing in 50 mL tubes should be used for liquid-based samples only. For small volumes (under 50 mL), use of this high-speed version is not recommended.
