For propagation and maintenance of E.Coli:

• Add 1 capsule per liter of water.
• Heat and stir until capsule is completely dissolved.
• Buffer is set for 7.2 at 20°C using a 10mM solution of TRIS/TRIS HCl
• Sterilize by autoclaving for 15 minutes.

PR1MA™ SOB Broth, Powder

SOB Broth is recommended for use in cultivation of recombinant strains of E. Coli. It is a nutritionally rich growth medium for use in the preparation and transformation of competent cells.

Add 28 grams of Broth in 1 liter of distilled water. Heat gently to dissolve the medium completely. Dispense in tubes and sterilize by autoclaving for 15 minutes.
