SureSeal S Sterile Microcentrifuge Tubes are high-performance tubes designed for a wide range of laboratory and research applications, including enzyme digests, DNA isolation and purification, centrifugation, incubation, and general sample or reagent storage.

 

Manufactured in cleanroom conditions, SureSeal S tubes use BioClear co-polymer. This advanced polypropylene offers exceptional clarity, superior centrifugal strength (tested up to 28,000 x g), and a wide working temperature range from –90°C to +121°C. This makes them ideal for both high-speed centrifugation and thermal applications.

Manufactured from ultra-clear polypropylene, ScrewSeal tubes provide excellent visibility for accurate sample inspection. Each tube includes an assembled screw cap with a silicone O-ring, ensuring a dependable leak-proof seal from –90°C to +121°C. This makes them ideal for freezing, boiling, centrifugation, and long-term storage.

Gel Crusher Spin Column

 

Rapid Gel Fragmentation for DNA Recovery.

 

Gel Crusher Spin Columns provide a fast, efficient, and consistent method for gel fragmentation, replacing traditional crush-and-soak or manual gel breaker steps. Designed with 600 uM filtration pores, these columns enable quick and uniform fragmentation of agarose or acrylamide gel slices, saving time and increasing DNA recovery yields.

 

Ideal for workflows in molecular cloning, PCR cleanup, restriction digests, DNA sequencing, and labeling protocols, the Gel Crusher simplifies the preparation of gel fragments for downstream purification and elution steps.

 

Simply insert the Gel Crusher column into a 2 mL microcentrifuge tube, add your pre-cut gel slice (prepared using a gel cutter or razor blade), and centrifuge at max speed (~15,000 x g) for 5 minutes. The gel will be forced through the 600 uM pores, producing small, uniform fragments that can be easily pipetted using wide-bore tips into NaCl or other solutions.

 

This process creates a fine slurry that enhances elution efficiency and improves access to the target nucleic acids, significantly reducing incubation and processing time.

2 mL tubes are prefilled with silica (glass) beads for bead homogenization. Beads are acid washed, and heat treated. Suitable for use in most bead homogenizers including the BeadBug 3, BeadBug 6 and BeadBlaster 24. 

2.0 mL Tubes, Zirconium Beads (D1032-01, D1032-05, D1032-10, D1032-15, D1032-30, D1032-SK)

2 mL tubes are prefilled with zirconium (ceramic) beads for bead homogenization. Beads are acid washed and heat treated. Tubes are filled in a process tested by qPCR to be free of stray DNA. Triple-Pure™ - High Impact. Suitable for use in most bead homogenizers including the BeadBug 3, Beadbug 6, and the BeadBlaster 24.

5.0 mL Tubes, Zirconium Beads (D1034-30)

 

5 mL tubes are prefilled with 3 mm zirconium (ceramic) beads for bead homogenization. Beads are acid washed and heat treated. Tubes are filled in a process tested by qPCR to be free of stray DNA. Triple-Pure - High Impact. Suitable for use in BeadBlaster 24 with appropriate 5 mL tube holders.

2.0 mL Tubes, Garnet Shards and Zirconium Bead (D1033-30G)

 

2 mL tubes are prefilled with one large, banded 6 mm zirconium satellite and garnet shards. Beads are alcohol washed and heat treated. Sharp edges of the garnet shards make these beads useful for homogenization for tough samples such as skin and plant material. Suitable for use in most bead homogenizers including the BeadBug 3, Beadbug 6, and the BeadBlaster 24.

2.0 mL Tubes, Stainless Steel Beads (D1033-28)

2 mL tubes are prefilled with 2.8 mm diameter stainless steel beads for bead homogenization. Beads are alcohol washed and heat treated. Suitable for use in most bead homogenizers including the BeadBug 3, Beadbug 6, and the BeadBlaster 24.

 

5.0 mL Tubes, Stainless Steel Beads (D1034-28)

 

5 mL tubes are prefilled with 2.8 mm diameter stainless steel beads for use in bead homogenizers. Beads are alcohol washed and heat treated. Suitable for use in BeadBlaster 24 with appropriate 5 mL tube holders.
