ILP PCR Plates

Nylon Membrane Disc Filter
- Weak resistance for acidic conditions

Nylon membranes are naturally hydrophilic polymer. They have broad chemical compatibility and low levels of extractables since the membranes do not contain any wetting agents, detergents or surfactants. They can be used in many different applications for filtering aqueous and organic solutions, even some aggressive solutions, such as acetonitrile (ACN), DMF and DMSO.
Nylon membranes are not good for acid solutions and tend to bind greater amounts of proteins and other macromolecules than other membranes. They are not recommended for protein recovery applications.

Ultra Clear and Ultra Clean
PurePlus® Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) consumables are made without additives so you don't need to wonder what is different about the plates, tubes, or strips you are using this week. We also test every batch for contamination by Human DNA as well as the more common tests that other suppliers offer for RNase and DNase enzymes. Many of our plates are printed with black alpha numeric reference grids to make it easier for you to keep track of your samples. We also offer optically clear caps and opaque black or white plates for Real Time PCR. And we also offer re-usable silicone sealing mats and polypropylene sealing film. Labcon PurePlus® PCR tubes, strips and plates are designed to fit many popular thermocyclers including brands like Applied Biosystems, Eppendorf, Thermo Scientific, and Bio Rad. All our PCR disposables are made from 100% virgin polypropylene and are lot tested and certified to be free of RNase, DNase, and Human DNA. Autoclavable. Our pure resin consumables are available in strips, individual tubes, plates in clear natural or colors.PurePlus® sterile disposables, like all our other sterile products, receive valid sterilization processing compliant with ISO 11137. VistaLab™ Reagent Reservoirs, Bulk
Reservoirs have multiple features to help to limit “dead volume” or leftover residual liquid. This superior low retention maximizes reagent recovery up to 67% better than comparable reservoirs.
The trough-within-a-trough design funnels remaining liquid into a secondary deep channel, so leftover drops can be easily aspirated, preventing reagent waste. The secondary trough also helps improve pipetting consistency, ensuring every channel of a multi-channel pipette can draw up equal volumes.
Additionally, these reservoirs have a proprietary high-wettability, hydrophilic surface treatment that helps lower surface tension, causing liquid to spread rather than bead up. This assists in the prevention of water droplets clinging to walls.
VistaLab™ reservoirs are ergonomic and easy to use with molded graduations, pour spouts at every corner, and a wide base for better stability. 100 mL options are compatible with VistaLab™ 100 mL Reagent Reservoir Coolers and either come with lids or have lids that may be purchased separately.
