PR1MA™ β - Agarase

PR1MA™ β - Agarase has a high tolerance to inhibitors in electrophoretic buffers such as TBE and TAE, eliminating the need to perform a buffer exchange step before digestion. PR1MA™ β - Agarase has higher thermal stability than other commercially available β - agarases, with a broad range of activity between 42°C and 50°C. Higher temperature digestion reduces the chances of residual agarose gelling at the end of the reaction, resulting in higher recovery of DNA or RNA.

PR1MA™ T4 Gene 32 Protein

PR1MA™ T4 Gene 32 Protein (T4 gp32) is a single-stranded DNA binding (ssDNA) protein required for E. coli bacteriophage T4 replication. It binds and stabilizes ssDNA structures which facilitates electron microscopic examination, and has also been shown to improve restriction digests, improve T4 DNA polymerase activity, and increase the yield of PCR reactions, including those with long amplicons.

• Heat inactivation: 65°C for 20 minutes

Freedom Rocker™ BotBlot® 

The Freedom Rocker™ BlotBot® is an automated blot processor. The fully programmable blot processing station automates the tedious incubation and washing steps required to process blots and gels, thus saving time and money through increased productivity. All trays receive the same reagent or wash buffer at the same time, in equal volumes, ensuring consistency.

Simply dispense individual reagents (in volumes as low as 3.5 mL) into appropriate trays and recover them separately. This allows the conservation of primary antibodies. The control panel has a large graphic display and intuitive layout making it easy to program protocols. These protocols can include different rocking speeds and times for each step. 

BlotBot® with a clear window can be employed when using reagents that are not light-sensitive in western blots. BlotBot® with a blackout window is recommended when using fluorescent reagents in western blots to preserve their integrity.
