The Z287-A exceeds the limitations set forth by traditional microcentrifuges which are restricted solely to fixed-angle rotors for microtubes. Instead, this compact, next-generation model features an expansive line of swing-out and fixed-angle rotors options that accept microplates and test tubes up to 50 mL. We have designed this centrifuge to be our most compact and economical. A true workhorse for any lab requiring a centrifuge that can accommodate many fields of research.

Along with a broad range of available rotor options, the Z287-A introduces a convenient status indicator. Users can easily view the current state of the centrifuge from across the room. The LED illuminates to signify if the rotor is spinning, the run is completed, or the centrifuge is idle in standby mode.

Advanced microprocessor controls allow for instant rotor identification, which automatically converts the rotational speed to the relevant g-force (rcf), preventing the user from setting a speed above the capabilities of the installed rotor. In addition to retrieving saved programs, the EZ-Scroll touch wheel front panel can adjust acceleration/deceleration rates and change the end-of-run alarm tone. Additionally, this feature prevents debris buildup, leakage, and can be operated with gloves on. The Z287-A is a truly powerful and versatile centrifuge perfect for any research laboratory.

Excel™ Electronic Pipettes are multifunctional units with operational modes for standard and reverse pipetting as well as multiple and sequential pipetting, mixing of samples, and serial dilutions. All functions are easily programmed with one hand on the well-positioned display and keypad. A fully motorized piston drive and auto-calibration guarantee excellent accuracy and reproducibility. The body of the pipette has been designed to fit comfortably in the right or left hand. Along with being lightweight, the unit is also well-balanced. The plunger button, located on the back side of the instrument, requires just a small movement of the index finger to activate, reducing the risk of Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI). The tip ejector slides easily with slight pressure from the thumb.

A small, rechargeable, lithium-ion battery powers the Excel™. A complete charge is achieved in just eight hours and last for 2,000 pipetting cycles. To ensure that a fresh battery is always available, a stand-alone charger and extra batteries are available. Also available is a 3-position linear stand for up to three single or multichannel pipettes and a carousel stand for up to six single or multichannel pipettes.

Precise pipetting of large and small volumes is easy due to single-handed control of pipetting speed for fast, powerful aspiration, accurate meniscus setting, or precise dispensing of small volumes. It is especially suited for dispensing acids, bases and hydrogen peroxide in the volume range from 1 to 10 mL. The components of the fluid path have been selected to only contain the highest purity materials, such as fluoroplastics and sapphire. The result is a trace metal content of dispensed liquid generally in the low ppb range, or even in the low ppt range, depending on the application. Both platinum-iridium and tantalum valve springs are available for application compatibility.

With both the Dispensette® S and Dispensette® S Organic, you will always have the right dispenser at hand for a wide range of media. For efficient volume adjustment, you can choose between digital and analog adjustment, or fixed volume. Do you dispense long series, sterile applications or moisture-sensitive media? With numerous accessory options, the Dispensette® S also offers efficient solutions for special applications.

Dispensette® S (red color-code): Ideal for dispensing aggressive reagents, including concentrated bases and acids such as H3PO4, H2SO4 (except e.g., HCl, HNO3 und HF), saline solutions, as well as many organic solvents.

Analog-adjustable Model: Rapid and safe volume setting with new internal scalloped track. Simple calibration adjustment with a supplied tool.
