PR1MA™ MC-24 Touch High-Speed Microcentrifuge
The PR1MA™ MC-24 Touch is the first microcentrifuge in its class to feature touchscreen control. In addition to the next-generation control panel, the centrifuge also offers high speed (up to 13,500 rpm / 16,800 xg) and a unique COMBI-Rotor™ with lid that accepts both standard microtubes (1.5 / 2.0 mL) and PCR tubes/strips (0.2 mL), making this the perfect partner for any molecular biology laboratory.
The large, color touchscreen, shows the actual speed (in rpm or rcf) along with set and remaining time. Up to 9 speed/time profiles can be stored in memory and the home screen displays a “mySpin” icon for instant recalls a designated favorite profile.Supplied with Benchmark’s unique COMBI-Rotor™, the MC-24 Touch will accept 24 × 1.5 / 2.0 mL tubes, 2 strips of 0.2 mL tubes (16 × 0.2 mL), and up to 12x spin column kits without requiring separate adapters. There is also an optional 8-place rotor for 5 mL and cryo tubes. Samples are kept cool, even during extended runs at the maximum speed setting by a proprietary air flow system that moves air evenly and quietly throughout the chamber.
The MC-24 Touch is cold room safe and carries a 2-year warranty.

The PR1MA™ Mini is a personal centrifuge that virtually fits in the palm of your hand. An eight-place rotor is included and comes installed. A second rotor for 0.2 mL PCR tubes and strips is also included and stored with the rotor removal key in a convenient compartment on the bottom of the centrifuge.
All centrifuges include the 8 x 1.5/2.0 mL microtube rotor, two position PCR strip rotor, and 8 adapters for 0.5 mL tubes.

BeadBug™ Microtube Homogenizer

The BeadBug™ is a high energy benchtop homogenizer for individualized sample cell disruption to whole tissue homogenization. Simultaneous homogenization of up to 3 samples inside disposable 2 mL screw cap microtubes can be optimized for grinding for 3 seconds to 3 minutes. The mixing motion causes rapid disruption through constant high velocity impact from the hardened micro-beads chosen specifically for your sample type.
Developed for samples too tough to be homogenized in a common lab vortexer, the BeadBug™ provides a convenient and economical alternative to the traditional, over-priced homogenizers on the market today. With up to a 3 tube capacity and a tiny footprint of 7 x 8 in., the BeadBug™ is the ideal homogenizing instrument for low to medium throughput laboratories.
