The UNICO® SQ Series UV-Visible Scanning Spectrophotometer delivers advanced analytical capabilities in a cost-effective, stand-alone design. The UNICO® SQ-2800 is the most economical general-purpose model in the SpectroQuest® line, offering excellent performance for laboratories requiring reliable UV-VIS measurements across a wide wavelength range.

With a 190 to 1,100 nm wavelength range and 4 nm fixed spectral bandwidth, the SQ-2800 supports a wide variety of applications. Standard functions include full wavelength scanning, kinetics, standard curves, and additional analytical modes. An expanded digital interface with internal memory and automatic system check enhances ease of use and consistency.

The instrument features a large, angled LCD display with adjustable contrast for comfortable viewing. Its large sample compartment accommodates a wide range of cell holders and optional accessories, including peristaltic sippers and Peltier temperature control systems. A 4-position manual cell holder allows simultaneous use of 10 mm square cuvettes, while the USB port enables optional software integration for data acquisition and analysis.
