X500 Custom Compound Microscopes

The backbone of the scope is the NIS60 optical technology, incorporating the most advanced infinity optics. These optics are designed with custom coatings, high numerical apertures, and long working distances to provide unsurpassed imaging for all applications. Additionally, all lenses are parfocal and paracentric, allowing you to mix and match grades of lenses based on your specific needs.

The X500 has several advanced features that work in synergy to provide the best imaging available. Along with the NIS60 optical design, X500 offers an intense LED illumination system, tuned to 5600º to provide increased contrast in stained samples. Moreover, there is "Fly Eye" technology that provides the most homogenous illumination from edge to edge of the view, even at extremely low 1X and 2X magnifications. The 1 uM co-axial fine focus provides a crisp image at any magnification, and the selectable refocus stop reduces the work required from changing specimen slides and objective magnifications. The ceramic-coated, 2-slide XY stage provides a precision, vibration-free movement of the sample, even at high 100X magnification.

Modularity is at the forefront of this microscope. Users can select any of the components to be motorized to streamline and automate their workflow. One scope in any configuration can perform brightfield, phase, DIC, fluorescence, and confocal imaging in a manual or automated environment.
