Parafilm® M Sealing Film is a trusted solution for sealing and protecting labware, widely used in scientific, medical, and industrial settings. This semi-transparent, thermoplastic film is made from a blend of polyolefins and waxes, offering two-way stretch and excellent sealing capabilities on various surfaces, including test tubes, flasks, beakers, and petri dishes.
With the ability to stretch over 200% of its original size, Parafilm® M conforms tightly to irregular surfaces and forms a strong, moisture-resistant barrier that prevents evaporation and contamination. It is odorless, non-toxic, and resistant to acids, alkalis, and organic solvents, making it ideal for sensitive applications.
Available in various sizes, Parafilm® M is an essential lab consumable for preserving sample integrity and minimizing environmental exposure.

ILP Polyolefin Sealing Film

Incredible optical clarity, non-absorbing, and non-fluorescing properties of these films make them ideally suited for Real Time PCR (qPCR) and optical assay work. Featuring an inert, ultra-clear, and strong encapsulated silicone adhesive that provides extraordinary performance in demanding applications.
Encapsulated silicone greatly reduces the risk of sample contamination due to exposure to adhesive. Once the film is pressed onto the plate, the raised portion of the well penetrates the encapsulation, and a tight seal is formed on just that surface (not over the sample). This silicone seal adheres aggressively, preventing evaporation and lessening the possibility of “Edge Effect”.
The plasticized backing of this film is scored on both ends to allow for two-handed (precise) placement on the plate. Both film and adhesive maintain incredible clarity and are the choice for highly demanding manual and automated processes.

ContainerSeal™ is a sealing tape designed for the vast range of bottles and containers used in laboratory applications. Its unique elastomeric characteristics allow it to stretch and conform around the irregular perimeters of containers lids and covers to form a tight seal. ContainerSeal™ will block water vapor loss, reduce the rate of gas exchange and prevent the entry of contaminants and can be easily removed from most surfaces without leaving adhesive residue.

Titer Tops® Sealing Film
Reliable, pierceable microplate sealing for contamination control.
Titer Tops® Sealing Film provides a dependable way to seal microplates and protect samples from cross-well contamination, evaporation, and spills. These pre-cut, pierceable polyethylene films feature a strong, non-cytotoxic acrylic adhesive that is waterproof, solvent-resistant, and sterile, making them ideal for microbiology, ELISA work, PCR prep, screening assays, and general plate handling. Each 4.4 mil thick film is durable enough to stay firmly in place yet easily pierced with a pipette tip for effortless sample access.
Designed for convenience and accuracy, Titer Tops® include two scored end tabs that simplify film alignment and removal, even when wearing gloves. The film remains secure under demanding lab conditions, with stable performance in 100% humidity and temperatures ranging from - 40°C to 100°C. With excellent chemical resistance, thermal stability, and a writable surface for clear labeling, Titer Tops® Sealing Film ensures dependable, contamination-free microplate workflows.

ILP Aluminum Sealing Film
