PR1MA™ 6-Well Deep Well Plates
PR1MA™ 6-Deepwell Microplates are high-quality, sterile plates specifically engineered for CHO-cell cultivation. Each plate is constructed from pure polystyrene with no additives, making it ideal for sensitive biological applications. Designed to replace 125 mL shake flasks, these plates offer superior mixing, better scalability, and a smaller lab footprint.
Key Features
- Six Deep Wells Per Plate: Each square well measures 34 x 34 mm, is 80 mm deep, and has a slightly rounded bottom to prevent foaming
- Recommended working volume of 25 to 35 mL per well, with a maximum capacity of 82 mL
- Pyramid-shaped well bottom allows for easy and consistent centrifugation, centralizing cell pellets for simplified downstream processing
- Sterilized by gamma irradiation. Plates are non-autoclavable and individually sealed for contamination control
- Optimized for Shaking Incubators: Suitable for orbital shaking at 180 rpm (50 mm orbit) or 225 rpm (25 mm orbit) to ensure efficient oxygen transfer and mixing.
- Specifically developed for long-term cultivation (4+ days) of Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells, widely used in biopharma production

PR1MA™ Self-Standing Transport Tubes—commonly known as mailing tubes or transport vials—are specifically engineered for the safe storage, transport, and freezing of temperature-sensitive biological samples. Made from virgin polypropylene, these tubes are RNase, DNase, and pyrogen-free, ensuring contamination-free use in medical, clinical, pharmaceutical, and research settings.
Each sterile tube features a 1¼-turn, leak-proof screw cap that is pre-attached for convenience. The tubes are fully 95kPa compliant, making them ideal for the air transport of infectious or high-risk samples.
