Dispensette® S bottletop dispensers build on the 50 year history of BRAND® dispensing expertise. Continual upgrades makes this the safest and most convenient ever, while retaining the features making the Dispensette® S the world"s favorite bottletop dispenser. The "floating piston" design of the Dispensette® S forms a zero-wear sealing system with outstanding sliding properties. Optimized flow channels make dispensing and priming even easier - particularly in instruments with large volumes.
The Dispensette® S Organic has much in common with a Dispensette® S, however there are two major
differences. The Dispensette® S Organic has a glass
piston, rather than a PFA-coated piston. This optimizes it for use with
concentrated acids and organic solvents that can interact with the PFA, but
makes it less useful for bases. In addition, the valve spring in the Dispensette® S Organic is tantalum (vs.
platinum-iridium alloy) allowing it to be used with peroxides, again, at
the expense of compatibility with bases. Because of the different
construction and chemical compatibility, parts from a Dispensette® S should not be used with a Dispensette® S Organic, and vice versa.

The Spectrafuge™ 16M is the perfect, high-speed, compact microcentrifuge. A brushless, maintenance-free motor provides extremely fast acceleration and deceleration of the 18-place rotor and makes the Spectrafuge™ 16M the quietest microcentrifuge in its class.
Speed and time are set with the control knobs on the front panel of the unit. A "quick" button allows for momentary runs. A continuous flow of ambient air through the rotor chamber keeps the rotor and samples cool. For applications requiring sub-ambient temperatures, the Spectrafuge™ 16M can be operated in a cold room.
The Spectrafuge™ 16M is supplied complete with an 18-place rotor for 1.5/2.0 mL tubes. Smaller tubes are accommodated by adapters (sold separately). The optional StripSpin™ rotor adapter holds two 8 x 0.2 mL strips, typically used for thermal cycling.

The Z446 universal centrifuge series offers the highest capacity of any benchtop Hermle-Benchmark model. With aircraft grade, premium alloy construction, the 4 x 750 mL swing-out rotor can withstand centrifugal forces upwards of 4,500 xg with full loads of up to 28 x 50 mL or 68 x 15 mL tubes.
Advanced microprocessor controls allow for instant rotor identification, which automatically converts the rotational speed to the relevant g-force (rcf), preventing the user from setting a speed above the capabilities of the installed rotor. In addition to retrieving saved programs, the easy-to-use front panel can adjust accel/decel rates and change the end-of-run alarm tone. Rotor exchange is simple and requires less than one minute. An included rotor wrench can be used to loosen and install all rotors. As soon as the rotor is placed on the motor shaft, the identification process activates, and the installed rotor code is displayed on the backlit LCD display.
