The BeadBath Duo™ Water and Bead Bath is the first laboratory bath designed to deliver precise, uniform temperature control when used with either water or Lab Armor® thermal beads. Unlike traditional baths, the BeadBath Duo™ features a dedicated MODE button that allows users to easily switch between Water Mode and Bead Mode. Each mode automatically optimizes the internal heating and sensing elements to ensure accurate and consistent temperature performance.

This versatile design gives laboratories the flexibility to use traditional water baths or take advantage of the growing popularity of bead baths, all in a single instrument. With the press of a button, the BeadBath Duo™ converts between bath types, providing the best of both worlds without compromising accuracy or convenience.

Benchmark™ MyBath™ Water Bath Series

The MyBath™ series is designed to guarantee superior accuracy and performance in a compact footprint. With four sizes to choose from, there is a MyBath™ to fit every lab.

Easy-to-use controls allow the user to digitally select and monitor settings. Adjustable in 0.1°C increments, the temperature is shown on a large, 3-digit display. The proprietary Quick-CAL™ feature allows for simple, in-lab calibration. High-efficiency insulation maintains temperature stability and uniformity within the bath while keeping the housing cool to the touch.

All the MyBath™ models feature seamless, stainless-steel chambers for easy cleaning and long life. The chambers resist rust and have no corners to collect dirt or contamination. The larger 8 L and 12 L units have drains for hassle-free water changes.

The 4 L, 8 L, and 12 L models include a see-through cover that can be removed or flipped back on a rear hinge to conserve bench space. The lid's gabled design will divert condensation to the front and back of the bath, away from samples.

Racks are available to accommodate 1.5 / 2.0 mL (B2000-4-T1520); 15 mL (B2000-8-T150); and 50 mL (B2000-8-T500) in the 8 L and 12 L MyBath™.

The capacity for the 8 L and 12 L MyBath™ is as follows: 2 B2000-4-T1520, 1 B2000-8-T500, 1 B2000-8-T150.

Lab Armor® Bead Bath

Bead Baths from Lab Armor® are designed with the user in mind and are optimized to work with Lab Armor® Bath Beads. Bead Bath performs all the essentials, including warming, thawing, incubating, chilling and does so while maintaining a constant temperature just like a water bath. These baths deliver exceptional temperature uniformity up to 80°C. The baths are available in 6 L, 14 L, and 20 L sizes, with and without beads included. 

• Uniform Temperatures
• With Bead Bath designed specifically for beads, temperatures are consistent and uniform everywhere in the bath. Thermal uniformity is an amazing ±5 °C at 37 °C and ± 1 °C at 65 °C. Since Bead Bath won't boil off like water, or pose danger of combustion like oil, it is ideal for most applications from 37°C to 400 °C.
• Fast Start
• Bead Bath gets up and running faster and you never need to turn it off. There is nothing to evaporate. Unlike a standard bead-filled water bath, Bead Bath allows you to achieve a new set temperature quickly, without long warm up delays, so you can make quick adjustments.
• Stays Organized
• Unlike water baths that require racks, floats and bottleneck weights, Bead Bath naturally holds things in place without accessories. The types and kinds of vessels that can be used with the Bead Bath aren't limited to water-tight containers. So you can safely incubate multiwall plates and petri dishes-or thaw samples without fear of water wicking under the lids. And vessels can be set into the beads at any angle for better thermal optimization.
• Low Maintenance
• Water baths must be routinely monitored, cleaned and maintained. While it is a good idea to keep an eye on Bead Bath, it rarely needs attention. A bi-weekly or monthly spritz of a biodegradable disinfectant is usually sufficient.
