The system is simple and self contained. A trapping system captures hydrogen bubbles created by electrolysis of the buffer at the cathode (-) end of the unit. As these bubbels move up the canted recirculation tube, they carry buffer along with them and provide a gentle and reliable recirculation system. This system is self regulating and no additional tubing or pumps are required.

Ideally sized for personal use, the Grant-bio PV-1 vortex mixer is compact, with a low profile and small footprint, to sit in almost any location. The PV-1 is so small that it will fit in your hand - yet there is no compromise on performance. The reliable motor produces regulated and reproducible agitation throughout the speed range. It is also extremely quiet.
With variable speed from 750 to 3000 rpm, the PV-1 can be used for gentle through to vigorous mixing and pellet resuspension in 0.5 mL, 1.5 mL, and 15 mL tubes.

Labnet BioPette™ A Pipettor
These precision variable volume pipettors are designed for exceptional
comfort and accuracy. Lightweight and well balanced, they fit comfortably
in either the right or left hand with the large digital display visible to
the user. Chemically resistant, maintenance-free seals and finely polished
pistons provide unsurpassed accuracy sample after sample. The continuously
adjustable, digital micrometer is slightly recessed to prevent
unintentional change and is protected from the effects of thermal expansion
by the insulated body of the pipettor. For convenience, volume can also be
adjusted by turning the push-button. Ergonomically positioned, the tip
ejector reduces fatigue during prolonged use.

Variable Volume Pipettor
BioPette™ line of variable volume pipettors have a universal shaft that will accept most pipet tips. The tip ejector is adjustable to accommodate various styles of tips and removable for pipetting into narrow tubes. Made from stainless steel, it will not rust, corrode or break. The BioPette™ A are fully autoclavable Eight models cover the volume range from 0.1 uL to 10,000 uL. A calibration tool is included with each unit for easy in-lab recalibration. Pipettors are individually tested and supplied with a certificate of quality.

The Z446 universal centrifuge series offers the highest capacity of any benchtop Hermle-Benchmark model. With aircraft grade, premium alloy construction, the 4 x 750 mL swing-out rotor can withstand centrifugal forces upwards of 4,500 xg with full loads of up to 28 x 50 mL or 68 x 15 mL tubes.
Advanced microprocessor controls allow for instant rotor identification, which automatically converts the rotational speed to the relevant g-force (rcf), preventing the user from setting a speed above the capabilities of the installed rotor. In addition to retrieving saved programs, the easy-to-use front panel can adjust accel/decel rates and change the end-of-run alarm tone. Rotor exchange is simple and requires less than one minute. An included rotor wrench can be used to loosen and install all rotors. As soon as the rotor is placed on the motor shaft, the identification process activates, and the installed rotor code is displayed on the backlit LCD display.
