PR1MA™ Microplate Microcentrifuge

The PR1MA™ Microplate Microcentrifuge is the first mini-sized centrifuge with a swing-out rotor for microplates. Centrifuging plates before PCR ensures all reactants are in the bottom of the wells for proper concentrations and improved yields.
The easily accessible rotor chamber includes two plate carriers that rest at a 75° angle. This allows plates to be inserted confidently without sealing tapes or caps. Upon closing the centrifuge lid, the rotor accelerates and the centrifugal force "swings" the plates into a horizontal position, concentrating any droplets on the plate walls to the well bottoms.

PR1MA™ MC-24 Touch High-Speed Microcentrifuge
The PR1MA™ MC-24 Touch is the first microcentrifuge in its class to feature touchscreen control. In addition to the next-generation control panel, the centrifuge also offers high speed (up to 13,500 rpm / 16,800 xg) and a unique COMBI-Rotor™ with lid that accepts both standard microtubes (1.5 / 2.0 mL) and PCR tubes/strips (0.2 mL), making this the perfect partner for any molecular biology laboratory.
The large, color touchscreen, shows the actual speed (in rpm or rcf) along with set and remaining time. Up to 9 speed/time profiles can be stored in memory and the home screen displays a “mySpin” icon for instant recalls a designated favorite profile.Supplied with Benchmark’s unique COMBI-Rotor™, the MC-24 Touch will accept 24 × 1.5 / 2.0 mL tubes, 2 strips of 0.2 mL tubes (16 × 0.2 mL), and up to 12x spin column kits without requiring separate adapters. There is also an optional 8-place rotor for 5 mL and cryo tubes. Samples are kept cool, even during extended runs at the maximum speed setting by a proprietary air flow system that moves air evenly and quietly throughout the chamber.

The Prism™ R refrigerated microcentrifuge is the premier model of Labnet's microcentrifuge product line. The unit features a powerful brushless motor and an intuitive control panel.
The Prism™ R is the refrigerated microcentrifuge model that incorporates a powerful cooling system that maintains temperatures as low as -10°C and can reach 4°C in less than eight minutes.
Speed is easily set and displayed in either rpm or rcf. Operation of the unit can be timed, continuous, or momentary using the "Quick" button. Vibration-free operation is ensured by an isolation system. In the event of a significant imbalance, the operation of the centrifuge is automatically stopped for safety. Deceleration at the end of a run is very quick but will not disrupt samples.
These microcentrifuges are supplied with a uniquely designed 24 x 1.5 / 2.0 mL rotor that allows easy access to the tops of the sample tubes. Individual tube slots in the solid aluminum rotor support tubes along their length and contain the sample in the event of tube failure. Adapters are available for smaller tubes as well as PCR strips. The rotor is seated on a tapered shaft which facilitates easy removal for cleaning and autoclaving.

Compact, quiet, and powerful are just a few of the features found on the Z216 series microcentrifuges. Add to this, the versatility of eight available rotor options, and the result is the ideal microcentrifuge for the modern molecular biology laboratory.
All common microtubes (0.2 mL, 0.5 mL, 1.5 mL, 2.0 mL) can be accepted as well as PCR strips, hematocrit tubes, and even 5.0 mL centrifuge tubes. Advanced microprocessor controls allow for setting/displaying of the rotational speed in either rpm or rcf. In addition to retrieving saved programs, the easy-to-use front panel can adjust accel/decel rates and change the end-of-run alarm tone. Despite a remarkably small footprint, the Z216 series offers a uniquely designed 44 x 1.5 mL dual-row rotor, nearly doubling the capacity when compared to traditional microcentrifuges.
In the Z216-MK model a powerful, compressor-driven cooling system maintains temperatures as low as -20°C and is designed to reach 4°C (from room temperature) in less than 10 minutes.

The Z207-M is the perfect microcentrifuge for laboratories with valuable limited space that requires quiet, and powerful centrifugation.
The Z207-M's compact design houses a powerful, maintenance-free, induction motor that can reach up to 17,317 x g. Accompanied by Hermle's easy-to-use control panel, the unique EZ-Scroll™ touchpad gives you ease of control and a modern feel. An advanced microprocessor controls allow for setting/displaying of the rotational speed in either rpm or rcf in increments of 10. In addition to retrieving saved programs, the easy-to-use front panel can be used to adjust accel/decel rates, run time, and change the end-of-run alarm tone. There is also a momentary spin function that will run while the button is pressed. Additionally, the Z207-M features a sleep mode to save energy by shutting off after a certain time if not being used while on, which can be toggled on or off easily.
All common microtubes 0.2 mL, 0.5 mL, 1.5 mL, 2.0 mL can be utilized in the standard 24-place rotor, as well as in a hermetically sealed, 24-place rotor for labs requiring an aerosol-tight enclosure when working with hazardous chemical, or biological, samples. An optional 18-place spin column rotor is also available.

The Z287-A exceeds the limitations set forth by traditional microcentrifuges which are restricted solely to fixed-angle rotors for microtubes. Instead, this compact, next-generation model features an expansive line of swing-out and fixed-angle rotors options that accept microplates and test tubes up to 50 mL. We have designed this centrifuge to be our most compact and economical. A true workhorse for any lab requiring a centrifuge that can accommodate many fields of research.
Along with a broad range of available rotor options, the Z287-A introduces a convenient status indicator. Users can easily view the current state of the centrifuge from across the room. Advanced microprocessor controls allow for instant rotor identification, which automatically converts the rotational speed to the relevant g-force (rcf), preventing the user from setting a speed above the capabilities of the installed rotor. The newest member of the Spectrafuge family, the 24D, features precise digital microprocessor control. This centrifuge is loaded with features yet has a list price low enough to make it the most economical high-performance microcentrifuge on the market.
A newly designed, easy-access 24 x 1.5 ml rotor is supplied with the Spectrafuge 24D. This innovative rotor places the tubes on a plateau, where the user can easily grip their tops. The powerful brushless motor quickly accelerates the rotor to a maximum speed of 13,300rpm/16,000 x g. The controls are simple, consisting of only two knobs. The speed knob is used to set the speed in either rpm or g-force. Pressing the knob toggles the display between rpm and rcf. Turning the timer knob sets the time parameter while pushing it starts and stops operation of the unit. The last run settings remain in memory allowing for repetitive centrifuging without resetting of parameters.
Extremely quiet and cool running, this unit maintains a small footprint. The Spectrafuge 24D is available in five accent colors.
