Haier -40°C Biomedical Freezer BP Series

 

Used in blood banks, hospitals, disease control centers, research institutes, electronic, chemical, and other industries for the cryopreservation of plasma, biologics, and other products. Cold tests for components and materials.

  • Microprocessor-controlled system with temperature display precision at 0.1º C. Internal temperature is adjustable from -20ºC to -40ºC.

Standard Flammable Storage Freezer with Natural Refrigerants


The Standard Flammable Storage Freezers meet NFPA and OSHA guidelines 45 and 70 for the refrigerated storage of flammable (volatile) materials in general laboratory work areas. Utilizes ATEX and non-sparking components for safety. These units are NOT designed for use in environments where volatile/explosive conditions could potentially exist.

Freezer models feature a microprocessor temperature controller and display, allowing for precise temperature control, verification and recovery versus mechanical style thermostats. 

Models utilize environmentally friendly, natural hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerants (not containing hydrofluorocarbons) which vastly reduce global-warming potential (GWP) while meeting new EPA/SNAP mandates and UL or ETL, ASHRAE compliance guidelines.

Please Note: For manual defrost freezers, periodic manual defrosting is required.  Freestanding models require 4" of clearance around back and sides of unit for proper ventilation.

Units feature a digital microprocessor temperature controller allowing for the precise temperature management necessary for critical samples and supplies. Defrosting of the unit will need to be performed periodically to prevent severe ice build-up.

Smart Frequency Freezers provide the ultimate temperature uniformity with the perfect combination of variable speed compressors and hydrocarbon (HC) refrigeration. With the hydrocarbon refrigeration technology, 50% less energy is used compared to the traditional CFC refrigerants found in standard freezers. DISCLAIMER: Auto defrost freezers incorporate an electric heater installed on the evaporator that assist in the removal of the frost and ice. Although the heater helps speed up the frost and ice removal, it can raise the temperatures within the freezer 
The Freestanding models (“UCFS”) require 4” of clearance around back and sides of the unit for proper ventilation. Improper installation will void the warranty and will lead to temperature maintenance issues, overheating and possible failure.
Environmentally friendly, natural hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerants (not containing hydrofluorocarbons) vastly reduce global-warming potential (GWP) while meeting new EPA/SNAP mandates and UL, ASHRAE compliance guidelines.
