PR1MA Extra Stretch Sealing Film is a colorless paraffin/polyolefin film that molds to almost any surface, creating a secure seal for a wide range of laboratory containers. It adheres to test tubes, centrifuge tubes, petri dishes, flasks, bottles, and beakers, making it an essential tool for protecting sensitive samples.

 

This latex-free sealing film provides a strong yet flexible moisture barrier while allowing controlled exchange of H2O vapor, O2, and CO2, ensuring sample integrity without compromising off-gassing. Its unique formulation makes it stretchable, moldable, and self-sealing, sticking to itself or nearly any material. DuraSeal Sealing Film

  • Durable, heat-resistant, solvent-proof laboratory sealing film

DuraSeal’s superior heat-resistant feature allows for containers to be incubated in boiling water baths without suffering the characteristic melting of paraffin-based alternatives. DuraSeal is polyethylene based and free of any adhesives.

DuraSeal is easy to use. There is no inter-leaf paper to strip away, just stretch the film symmetrically over a container opening and the 1.5 mil thick film contracts inwardly around the opening or neck of the container to provide a drum-tight, water-proof seal. The film can be elongated 500-800% before breakage. The film clings to itself, especially after stretching so the free edges of the film may be stretched around the container to secure the container edges.

ContainerSeal is a sealing tape designed for the vast range of bottles and containers used in laboratory applications. Its unique elastomeric characteristics allow it to stretch and conform around the irregular perimeters of containers lids and covers to form a tight seal. ContainerSeal will block water vapor loss, reduce the rate of gas exchange and prevent the entry of contaminants and can be easily removed from most surfaces without leaving adhesive residue.

PetriSeal Sealing Film

 

PetriSeal stretches and conforms to form a tight seal and is temperature resistant, waterproof and chemically resistant. It resists abrasion and puncture and blocks vapor loss while reducing the rate of gas exchange. Use PetriSeal with microtiter plates, Petri dishes and culture plates to prevent to entry of contaminants. The seal remains flexible down to -30°C and can withstand continuous exposure from -40°C to +77°C (with intermittent exposure up to 100°C). Tests have shown that PetriSeal leaves no adhesive residue even after two years.
