PurePlus® Deep Well Plates

Labcon’s PurePlus® Deep Well Plates are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of RNase, DNase, ATP, and endotoxins. With our in-house microbiology lab, consistency is a top priority.

Available in sterile and non-sterile formats, these plates fit most popular instruments and can be sealed with sealing films or reusable silicone mats. Barcoding is available for both 1.2 mL and 2.2 mL plates by special order.

Ultra Clean & Ultra Clear 

PurePlus® plates feature molded-in orientation and permanent printed locating grids for ease of use. They are available in multiple formats: 96 well square hole with conical or flat bottom, 96 well round hole with round bottom, and 384 well square hole.

With volumes ranging from 0.2 mL to 2.5 mL, our plates are offered in non-sterile and validated medical-grade sterile versions, sterilized to an SAL of 10^-6 in compliance with ISO 11137.

The 1.2 mL and 2.2 mL volumes include three-sided alpha-numeric labeling grids, and their smooth interior surfaces ensure efficient pipetting. Designed for manual or robotic handling, these plates are SBS formatted for compatibility with automated systems.

Additional Features

Made from 100% virgin polypropylene, PurePlus® plates are autoclavable and freezable. Unlike "pre-sterile" products from other manufacturers, our sterile plates are fully validated for diagnostic and regulated procedures.

Huge round top wells (with conical V-bottom) provide easier access and up to 480 uL per well of working volume in this short (14.4 mm high) micro-plate.

Manufactured from chemically resistant and inert virgin polypropylene, this plate is optimized for sample collection; combinatorial chemistry; library applications, bacterial and yeast growth, storage, and sample recovery.  

The V-bottom design helps to concentrate reagents and samples, by minimizing the amount of both needed. It also improves sample recovery, while larger diameter wells improve sample access and overall volume.

The sturdy design and ANSI/SLAS 2004 compliant footprint (SBS) allow for automated usage with grippers, stackers, and heater/cooler blocks.

Raised rims on each well make for easy and secure sealing with adhesive films, silicone mats, or heat-sealing films, help prevent cross-contamination, and reduce sample loss in storage.

The 300 uL plate design assists in mixing and provides low residual volumes after pipetting (<0.1 l); designed for colorimetric assays and compound storage, especially with automated systems. Ultra-flat surfaces, sidewall gripper lugs, and rigidity optimize this plate for consistent automated handling.

Manufactured of exceptionally clear virgin polypropylene, this plate can withstand repeated freeze/thaw cycles down to -20ºC without adversely affecting dimensional integrity. 500 uL MicroPlates
