Heathrow Scientific® Sibata Amber Volumetric Flasks with Stopper

These volumetric flasks are constructed of low-actinic amber glass, providing protection for materials that are sensitive to light. Each flask features machine-blown bodies and heavy-beaded, heavy-tubing necks that are tooled for standard taper glass stoppers. Each volumetric flask is supplied with a standard taper glass stopper, which provides a leakproof seal. Constructed from premium borosilicate glass, these flasks offer exceptional clarity, superior chemical resistance, and a low coefficient of thermal expansion for consistent and accurate results. Each volumetric flask is supplied with a durable snap cap that helps protect against spills, contamination, and accidental breakage during handling and storage.

Sterile 250mL polycarbonate flask without baffles. Virtually unbreakable Lexan (registered trademark of GE Plastics) polycarbonate is used in the manufacture of this product.
Flask comes sterile via gamma irradiation, packaged in its own protective bag with two polypropylene 38mm closures. One is a standard leakproof closure. The other is a vented closure with a PTFE membrane, 0.22um pore size for sterile air exchange.
The polycarbonate is autoclavable which makes for repeated reuse of the flasks. They are certified non pyrogenic and DNase/RNase free for convenience. Product fits all standard shaking incubator slamps and are ideal for culture, media preparation, storage and any related application.
