VistaLab Ovation Pipette Tips
- VistaLab tips and tip racks are made of 100% pure virgin polypropylene.
Use genuine VistaLab pipette tips to maximize the exceptional performance and benefits of Ovation and MLA pipettes. All VistaLab pipettes are calibrated with VistaLab tips to provide a perfect fit and deliver reliable performance every time. We have a variety of packaging configurations and options of sterile, certified RNase/DNase free, non-pyrogenic, filtered, low retention and trace metal certified.
Fit is Everything | One Size Does Not Fit All
VistaLab pipettes are calibrated to VistaLab tips. Ovation pipettes are designed to make the pipette ”click” when tips are properly loaded eliminating the need for excessive force and ”jamming.” You'll never worry about tips falling off! In addition, when tips aren't jammed on, they are easier to eject, which is more ergonomic.
For optimal performance:
1) The pipette tip should be sealed properly. The seal area should be the entire side wall of the tip, from the bottom of the nozzle to the top lip of the tip. If the tips are not sealed, there could be leakage and contamination.
2) The tip should not extend too far up the nozzle or be too small to fit onto the nozzle. Either situation affects tip ejection, which is also not ergonomic.

Labcon ZAP™ Slik Aerosol Filter Universal Pipette Tips
ZAP™ Slik Aerosol filter Pipette Tips from Labcon combine the higher standard of ZAP™ filters with our own unique low retention pipette tips. These aerosol tips provide you with complete protection from sample carry-over at the same time they reduce sample retention. Incorporating a robotically inserted 10 um filter with a sponge-like porous pathway ZAP™ Slik tips have such a small pore they even block fluids in the unlikely event that you should over-pipette. And our SuperSlik®; polypropylene increases the hydrophobicity of tips surfaces, so they have up to 10 times less fluid retention.
ZAP™ Slik Aerosol Filter Pipette Tips have been proven in independent studies to block aerosol contamination. But unlike some leading brands of self-sealing aerosol resistant pipette tips they have no cellulose gum, toluene solvent, or colored dyes in the filter to mix with and contaminate your sample. Also, unlike self-sealing aerosol tips ZAP™ tips can be autoclaved in a steam autoclave. And ZAP™ tips will not wick fluids like cellulose filled aerosol resistant tips so you don't have to worry about how you hold your pipettor. Our ZAP™ tips in sterile racks, like all our other sterile products, receive valid sterilization processing compliant with ISO 11137. So unlike "pre-sterile" tips from other pipette tip suppliers you can use ZAP™ Slik tips for diagnostic and regulated procedures. And ZAP™ Slik tips are RoHS compliant, unlike other low retention tips, so you don't have to worry that additives will migrate into your sample.

Unlike low retention tips from many others, SuperSlik® tips use no restricted chemicals and meet RoHS regulations. The resin helps increase the contact angle of fluids and lets you dispense the maximum amount of sticky DNA molecules. These tips were developed in our own laboratory and have been found to be ideal for viscous samples. Low retention tips are best suited for pipetting thick or sticky fluids and may not be appropriate for all uses.

Labcon APT™ Automation Pipette Tips
Labcon automation pipet tips APT™ for Beckman® FX, NX and other brands are designed and tested to fit your workstation. Made from pure pre-tested medical grade resins to ensure the integrity of your work. Each lot is tested and certified free of ATP, RNase/DNase (Nuclease), and Endotoxins (non-pyrogenic). Resins are pre-tested with a USP test method to ensure they are free of Oleamide and Phalates. Unlike tips sold as “pre-sterile” these tips use a validated medical grade sterilization process. You can use these tips in diagnostics, regulated testing, and medical screening procedures.
Labcon Robotic Pipette Tips are made of virgin polypropylene and furnished pre-racked in extra-heavy automation grade polypropylene racks and are autoclavable.
