PR1MA™ 6-Well Deep Well Plates
PR1MA™ 6-Deepwell Microplates are high-quality, sterile plates specifically engineered for CHO-cell cultivation. Each plate is constructed from pure polystyrene with no additives, making it ideal for sensitive biological applications. Designed to replace 125 mL shake flasks, these plates offer superior mixing, better scalability, and a smaller lab footprint.

PR1MA™ Self-Standing Transport Tubes—commonly known as mailing tubes or transport vials—are specifically engineered for the safe storage, transport, and freezing of temperature-sensitive biological samples. Made from virgin polypropylene, these tubes are RNase, DNase, and pyrogen-free, ensuring contamination-free use in medical, clinical, pharmaceutical, and research settings.
Each sterile tube features a 1¼-turn, leak-proof screw cap that is pre-attached for convenience. The tubes are fully 95kPa compliant, making them ideal for the air transport of infectious or high-risk samples.
Now enhanced with Temperature Indicator Technology, each tube includes a
built-in indicator patch that offers a visual cue of the sample’s temperature state:
- Starts turning blue at 4°C
- Turns dark blue at 0°C
- Returns to transparent grey above 4°C

PR1MA™ 24 Well Half Deep Well Plates
4-Well round polystyrene microplates with transparent bottom and lid (Porvair®).
The PR1MA™ Half Deep Well Plate - 24 is designed for specialized cell cultivation where minimal shear stress is essential. Manufactured from high-quality polystyrene, these microplates feature round wells with a transparent bottom and come with a polystyrene lid, making them ideal for applications such as Growth Profiler analysis and other optical measurements.
Each plate is individually sealed in polyethylene foil, sterilized by gamma irradiation, and non-autoclavable, intended for single-use only. These microplates are a preferred solution for culturing sensitive cells that may not tolerate the angular edges of square-well plates.
With a recommended culture volume of 1 mL (total well volume 3 mL), the PR-CR1424-F performs reliably under standard shaking conditions, 225 rpm with 50 mm orbit or 300 rpm with 25 mm orbit.
For optimal use, pair with Porvair® cover CR1324c and clamp CR1801h for secure sealing and improved cultivation consistency.

Five-O™ 5 mL Screw-Cap MacroTubes® combine the durability and convenience of traditional 15 mL conical tubes with a compact, resource-efficient 5 mL format. Designed for enhanced space savings and reduced plastic consumption, these versatile polypropylene tubes support a wide range of laboratory workflows, from boiling applications to long-term sample preservation at –86°C to +121°C.
Choose between sterile racked packaging with attached screw caps or non-sterile bulk packaging with separate caps. The racked format features foam racks similar to those used for 15 mL tubes but requires approximately 60% less storage space. These tubes are fully compatible with standard laboratory equipment, making it easy to integrate them into existing centrifugation, storage, and processing protocols.

Total-Pure™ Centrifuge Tubes are produced from a proprietary purified polypropylene blend that is certified to be free of trace metal content. Tested via ICP-MS, these tubes are certified to contain less than 1ppm of common trace metals including: Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, Iron, Manganese, Copper, Aluminum, Silicon, Nickel, Vanadium, Sodium, Phosphorous, Cobalt, Chromium, Potassium, Lithium, Lead, Selenium, Cadmium, Mercury, and Arsenic.
In addition to a superior level of purity, TotalPure™ Tubes include a wide array of premium features. These tubes are engineered to withstand a max centrifugation rate of 20,000 x g, with this RCF specification printed directly on both the 15 mL and 50 mL tubes.
