Drosophila Bottles

Drosophila bottles are available in 6oz square bottoms and 8oz round bottoms, and there are two materials to choose from: polypropylene and polyethylene.

The polypropylene material is autoclavable and can be reused. The polyethylene material has stable performance and good tolerance to chemical substances. Specially designed neck can prevent the closures from falling in. Available in bulk or tray packaging.

MIDSCI has a variety of products for use when autoclaving and cleaning products.  Check out F16260-0000. It is 8.5 L and can transport and hold items when autoclaving or even as an ice or water bath.  Its Outside Dimensions are 30.5 x 24.8 x 11.4 cm H (12 x 93/4 x 41/2" H).

H16260-0000 is 5 L and is  ideal for sterilizing instruments, bottles containing agar, deionized water, saline and other reagents, and for safely cleaning glassware in sinks
Outside Dimensions are 30.5L x 20.3W x 12.7cmH (12 x 8 x 5").

Cryo MicroTubes

This series of tubes is available either plain or with printed graduations and white marking area for sample identification. The caps do not have the attachment loops for users who prefer to remove the caps completely from the tubes when filling or sampling. These microcentrifuge tubes have all the other fine features stated in the general description. Perfect for cryogenic work. Non skirted tubes can be centrifuged up to 20,000g. Skirted tubes can be centrifuged up to 17,000g.

Will withstand temperatures from -196 °C to +121 °C. 

Tubes and caps (with CMT as part number) are certified RNase, DNase, DNA and Pyrogen free.

Graduated Conical Base Centrifuge Tubes

Autoclave Tape:
Autoclave tape is used as a process indicator in steam sterilizers. It features an aggressive, pressure-sensitive adhesive designed to adhere to a variety of wraps so that the pack stays secure during sterilization and can be used on direct contact with substrates. Tape also features a chemical indicator to verify that it has gone through the sterilization process. Black diagonal lines appear on the tape after 10 minutes at 121°C or 2 minutes at 134°C in a steam sterilizer.

Lead Free Autoclave Tape:

Sterilization package sealing tape with a process indicator. Designed for gravity sterilizers at 121°C for 30 minutes and pre-vacuum steam sterilizers at 132°C for 3 minutes and 135°C for 3 minutes.
