Celltreat® Centrifuge Bottles are designed for dependable low to moderate speed centrifugation of biological and chemical samples. With a rigid construction and available in both polycarbonate and polypropylene, these bottles provide durability and chemical resistance.
These reusable and autoclavable centrifuge bottles are built for efficiency and reliability. For optimal results, bottles should be filled to 80% of their total capacity during use.

These precision-molded, conical and round bottom tubes are perfect for a multitude of general laboratory uses. Precision crafted of extra clear virgin polypropylene in natural and colors or clear virgin polystyrene. Tube caps are made of low-density polyethylene for a secure seal and are available in a fluted plug style or dual position design that permits sample aspiration.
Polypropylene tubes are autoclavable to 122°C and freezable to -80°C. Polystyrene tubes are not autoclavable but have a nominal temperature range between 90°C and -40°C. Polyethylene caps are not autoclavable but are available pre-sterilized with many of the tube packages.
Polypropylene tubes can be centrifuged to 3000 RCF and polystyrene tubes will withstand 1500 RCF. (RCF; Relative Centrifugal Force, is not equivalent to RPM)

They are intended for determinations in the 340 to 800 nm (visible) wavelength range. Available in 3 sizes: 1.5 mL micro, 2.5 mL semi-micro, and 4.5 mL macro. All sizes are 12.5 mm square and 45 mm height and are compatible with various spectrophotometer models, including Carolina®, Spectronic®200, Spectronic®20 and 20D, Spectronic®Educator, Genesys™, and Accuris SmartDrop™.
