5 mL SnapCap MacroTubes® offer a largervolume alternative to standard 1.5 mL tubes while maintaining the same convenience, clarity, and ease of use. Made from high-quality polypropylene, each tube features an attached flip-top cap that forms a tight, leak-proof seal and can be opened or closed with one hand. The cap is engineered to maintain a reliable seal across a wide temperature range from –86°C to +80°C, making these tubes suitable for a variety of laboratory applications.

Designed with the same diameter as 15 mL centrifuge tubes, MacroTubes® are fully compatible with standard centrifuge rotors, racks, and equipment. The DryChill™ cooling blocks are designed to store samples safely on the lab-bench without sample degradation due to temperature increase or fluctuation. Unlike traditional ice buckets, these blocks do not require any ice and are uniquely designed to minimize condensation, resulting in a convenient, mess-free cooling.
