The Buccal-Prep Plus DNA Isolation Kit is our latest precipitation-based chemistry combining all the necessary optimized buffers to fully lyse and simply purify DNA from Buccal swabs. The kit has a fast protocol, producing high yields and purity for all downstream processing applications. As with our other precipitation-based chemistries, no solvents, alcohol, or other external buffers are required, giving fewer processing steps and creating a faster process time.

Isohelix™ BuccalFix Plus DNA Isolation Kit

All the reagents needed to easily and quickly isolate and purify DNA with extremely high yields and purity.

The BuccalFix DNA Isolation Kits are designed to easily and quickly purify DNA already stored in BuccalFix Stabilization buffers. 

The kit comes with all the reagents required to perform the necessary isolation steps, including Proteinase K, to produce DNA with high yields and purity for all downstream processing applications.
The protocol is extremely flexible and easily adjusted if there are varying volumes to be purified. The average processing time for 0.5 mL is well under 1 hour, and no solvents, alcohol, or other buffers are required.

DNA/RNA Saliva Collectors

GeneFix™ is an easy-to-use and economical DNA/RNA saliva collection device, designed specifically to store and stabilize long-term DNA for 1 or 2 mL saliva samples, and now additionally our new High Capacity collector for 3 mL samples. The collection tube is pre-filled with a fully tested and chemically optimized stabilization buffer. The simple screw-on funnel enables the saliva sample to be delivered directly and quickly into the buffer.

Clear, legible markings on the GeneFiX™ collection tubes indicate the correct volume of Saliva to be delivered, before removing and sealing the tube, the unique funnel design prevents spillages and flow back even when accidentally knocked over. The collection tubes will withstand defined physical pressures that have been specified for leakproof sample transport and are designed for either manual or more automated application with printed bar codes and caps options being suitable for auto de-capping machines.

Isohelix™ Stoolfix Gut DNA Microbiome Stabilization Kits

The StoolFix Gut Microbiome Collection and Stabilization prefilled tubes use the latest Isohelix™ DNA Stabilization chemistry, fully optimized for fecal microbiome DNA.

To minimize sample handling, the Isohelix™ DNA swabs (SK-3S) are used to collect and transfer the sample into prefilled tubes containing the StoolFix buffer. Once sealed the buffer protects the DNA integrity and maximizes yield for months at room temperature.

MTC™ Bio Erlenmeyer Flasks

Sterile, Vented, High-Performance Cell Culture Flasks.

MTC™ Bio’s Erlenmeyer Shaker Flasks are designed for high-efficiency cell culture and microbial growth. Made from high-quality polycarbonate, PETG, or styrene/butadiene (for Jumbo Flasks), these flasks provide durability and clarity for optimal lab performance.

Each flask features a vented polypropylene screw cap with a 0.2 uM membrane filter, allowing enhanced gas exchange to support vigorous cell growth. The standard SBS-compatible mouth ensures a secure fit with bioreactor and shaker equipment for seamless integration.

Polycarbonate flasks and Jumbo Fernbach flasks feature a baffled (ribbed) bottom, promoting superior oxygenation and efficient mixing, even at lower shaking speeds.

All Erlenmeyer flasks are individually wrapped and gamma sterilized to a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10, and are certified RNase-, DNase-, pyrogen-, endotoxin-, and human DNA-free for uncompromised experimental conditions.

NEST High-Efficiency Erlenmeyer Flasks

High-efficiency, large-volume culture flasks allow cells to show strong viability with large expression amounts of proteins in the culture of mammalian cells and insect cells. During the culturing process, the use rate of the shaker is significantly increased, and the survival rate and viability of cells are both dramatically elevated.
