BenchBin™ Benchtop Biohazard Bins by MTC™ Bio are compact, personal waste containers designed for efficient and hygienic disposal of biological and non-hazardous lab waste. Ideal for use in research labs, medical facilities, or any workspace with limited space, BenchBin™ helps maintain a clean, organized, and contamination-free work surface.

Use with autoclave bags (8.5 x 11 In. or 10 x 12.5 In.) for safe collection of biohazardous waste for later processing, or use without a bag for collecting non-hazardous materials. The removable red cover makes emptying quick and mess-free.

Perfect for disposing of pipette tips, microcentrifuge tubes, gloves, and more, BenchBin™ features a push-to-open/close spring lid that keeps contents covered, reduces contamination risk, and keeps your lab bench tidy.

BowTie™ Biohazard Bags offer a safer, faster, and more efficient way to manage and dispose of infectious or hazardous waste. Designed with exclusive drawstring loops, these bags provide an instant-cinch closure, eliminating the need for wire ties, and a built-in handle for easy and safe removal from bins or hot autoclaves. The loop design also allows venting during sterilization, improving autoclave performance and safety.

Made from durable 2.25 mil thick HDPE, BowTie™ Bags are built to withstand autoclave cycles at 121°C, ensuring compliance with common sterilization standards.

For added safety and identification, each bag features:

Bio-Bin® Waste Disposal Containers

Bio-Bin® Waste Disposal Containers offer a cost-effective, lightweight alternative to rigid plastic waste containers, making them ideal for academic, clinical, government, and industrial laboratories. Designed for the collection of non-sharps biomedical waste that requires heat treatment, such as autoclaving or incineration, Bio-Bins safely contain items like pipette tips, test tubes, swabs, vials, and microbiological loops. With multiple capacity options, including 2.5 L benchtop, 6 L serological pipette, and 30 L floor-standing models, users can choose the perfect size for everyday lab workflows.

Each Bio-Bin® features a fold-flat design for efficient storage, a built-in lid and handles for ergonomic handling, and both temporary and permanent seals for secure disposal. Constructed from waterproof materials with an internal super-absorbent Bio-matt™ to manage excess liquids, these containers are UN 3291-approved for regulated biomedical waste and fully autoclavable. Optional stainless steel stands (U-stand, Z-stand, and M-stand) further enhance usability by providing stable, angled, or upright support depending on your workspace needs.
 

Burn-Up Bin with Handles

Floor-size disposal boxes now feature integral handles at no extra charge (Patent Nos. US 11,034,515 B2 and US D891,921 S). Integral handles on opposing sides of floor model disposal boxes are now a standard feature. Handles allow for easier movement of the disposal boxes both in use and disposal without compromising the safety of the user. The lid covers the built-in integral handles when use is not necessary.
