PR1MA™ Microplate Microcentrifuge

The PR1MA™ Microplate Microcentrifuge is the first mini-sized centrifuge with a swing-out rotor for microplates. Centrifuging plates before PCR ensures all reactants are in the bottom of the wells for proper concentrations and improved yields.
The easily accessible rotor chamber includes two plate carriers that rest at a 75° angle. This allows plates to be inserted confidently without sealing tapes or caps. Upon closing the centrifuge lid, the rotor accelerates and the centrifugal force "swings" the plates into a horizontal position, concentrating any droplets on the plate walls to the well bottoms.

- PCRCENT-A02 - This tube adapter for the PCRCENT Plate Centrifuge holds 96 0.2 mL tubes or 8 and 12 position PCR strips. It comes 2 per pack.
- PCRCENT-DWMP - This optional rotor for the PCRCENT Plate Centrifuge has carriers for deep well plates up to 35 mm tall.

The PR1MA™ High-Speed Microcentrifuge is the first and only compact microcentrifuge capable of achieving centrifugal speeds up to the critical threshold of 16,000 x g, often held as the standard for many molecular biology/DNA protocols. The PR1MA™ Mini is a personal centrifuge that virtually fits in the palm of your hand. An eight-place rotor is included and comes installed. A second rotor for 0.2 mL PCR tubes and strips is also included and stored with the rotor removal key in a convenient compartment on the bottom of the centrifuge.
All centrifuges include the 8 x 1.5/2.0 mL microtube rotor, two position PCR strip rotor, and 8 adapters for 0.5 mL tubes.

The PR1MA™ MC-24 Touch is the first microcentrifuge in its class to feature touchscreen control. In addition to the next-generation control panel, the centrifuge also offers high speed (up to 13,500 rpm / 16,800 xg) and a unique COMBI-Rotor™ with lid that accepts both standard microtubes (1.5 / 2.0 mL) and PCR tubes/strips (0.2 mL), making this the perfect partner for any molecular biology laboratory.
The large, color touchscreen, shows the actual speed (in rpm or rcf) along with set and remaining time. Up to 9 speed/time profiles can be stored in memory and the home screen displays a “mySpin” icon for instant recalls a designated favorite profile.Supplied with Benchmark’s unique COMBI-Rotor™, the MC-24 Touch will accept 24 × 1.5 / 2.0 mL tubes, 2 strips of 0.2 mL tubes (16 × 0.2 mL), and up to 12x spin column kits without requiring separate adapters.
